You Tube, PowerPoint, and Picassa

This past week I had my classes on campus and I learned about converting my power point to video and how to post on You Tube. The slides converted fine, but the sound and narration did not, so I am trying to problem solve that. Later today, I will try a new application on PowerPoint 2010 that is supposed to enable you to turn your PowerPoint into video. It takes a long time, so I need to wait until I am finished with some of my school work to do this.

I also learned about Picassa by Google. You can access it through gmail. This software lets you create a slide show album. You can see this on my blog now, I uploaded the picutes from my flamingo power point to this and created a slide show. Very easy, once I learned how to do it.

I worked on my Windows Movie Maker a little in class, and found that the 2010 version is very different than previous versions. However, I was able to find out how to split some video and then add a still picture. More on that as I create more!
